California Proposition 65 Warning
ANH ZORVENA LLC (“ANH ZORVENA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to product safety and transparency. This page provides information about California's Proposition 65 as it relates to certain products sold on www.anhzorvena.com.
What Is Proposition 65?
Proposition 65, officially known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a California law that requires businesses to provide warnings to California residents about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. The law is administered by the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA), which maintains a list of chemicals known to the State of California to cause these harms. The list is updated at least once per year and currently contains over 900 chemicals.
ANH ZORVENA Product Warning
Some ANH ZORVENA cleaning and garment care products may expose users to chemicals listed under Proposition 65. Specifically:
- Stain remover solutions: May contain trace amounts of chemicals including but not limited to methanol and certain surfactants that are on the Proposition 65 list.
- Fabric shavers and lint removers: May contain trace amounts of lead or phthalates in electrical components and wiring, as is common with electronic devices.
- Garment steamers: May contain trace amounts of lead or cadmium in internal wiring and heating elements.
- Cleaning solutions and sprays: May contain chemicals such as formaldehyde or acetaldehyde at levels that trigger Proposition 65 notification.
These exposures are generally at levels well below those determined by federal safety standards, but Proposition 65 requires notification at much lower thresholds.

Listed Chemicals
The following Proposition 65-listed chemicals may be present in trace amounts in certain ANH ZORVENA products:
- Lead — found in electronic wiring and solder; known to cause birth defects and reproductive harm
- Cadmium — found in electronic components; known to cause cancer and birth defects
- Methanol — found in some cleaning solutions; known to cause birth defects
- Formaldehyde — found in some fabric treatments and cleaning agents; known to cause cancer
- Phthalates (DEHP, DINP) — found in plastic components and cables; known to cause birth defects and reproductive harm
- Acetaldehyde — found in some cleaning formulations; known to cause cancer

Safe Harbor Levels
Proposition 65 establishes “safe harbor” levels for listed chemicals: No Significant Risk Levels (NSRLs) for cancer-causing chemicals and Maximum Allowable Dose Levels (MADLs) for chemicals causing reproductive harm. Exposures below these levels do not require a warning. However, because some ANH ZORVENA products may contain chemicals above these thresholds or because we have not conducted specific exposure assessments, we provide the warning out of an abundance of caution. Providing this warning does not mean that our products will cause harm; it simply fulfills our legal obligation under California law.
Product Safety Commitment
All ANH ZORVENA products comply with applicable federal safety standards, including those set by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) where applicable. We work with our manufacturers to minimize the use of chemicals of concern and to meet or exceed all regulatory requirements. The Proposition 65 warning is provided not because our products are unsafe, but because California law requires disclosure at levels far below federal safety standards.
Outside of California
Proposition 65 warnings are required only for products shipped to California addresses. If you live outside of California, this warning does not apply to you under your state's laws. However, the information provided here may be useful regardless of your location. All ANH ZORVENA products meet federal safety standards regardless of where they are shipped.
